Eastern Screech Owls are small robin sized owls common in most US states East of the Rocky Mountains. You may have one nesting in your neighborhood and not even know it do to their strict nocturnal habits. Eastern Screech owls come in red or grey variations called "morphs". They differ from the Western Screech owls which are always grey.
