I love when a painting creates itself! This square canvas panel began as an experiment to see what types of marks I could make with different objects I found in and around our home. Yep, no paintbrushes or traditional artist tools were used on this one! Not knowing what I was going to be I just played with some of my favorite colors until all of a sudden I could "see" the beginnings of some water lilies showing up here and there! I helped them out a bit, but left things a bit abstract. Sort of reminds me of other artists we have seen!
I have it displayed in a shadowbox type frame so it's got some space between the surface of the piece and the glass. I'll be shipping it to you just as you see it in the photo. It is ready to display on a shelf or wall right out of the box.
