Canada Warbler live the life of a snowbird...they spend their winters in South America, then hang out up north in the warmer months. Their migration takes them on quite the journey..instead of flying straight over the Gulf of Mexico like many other birds they go around via Texas and Mexico. It's easy to see why they are sometimes called the "Necklace Warbler"...they sport a black necklace across their chest.
