The Brown Thrasher is the State bird of Georgia. Maybe that's why we hadn't seen them before we moved here. Now they visit almost every day...literally thrashing through the leaves under the azalea bushes looking for something to eat. I painted this bird with gouache paints over collage and Distress Inks on watercolor paper.
The painting measures 5 1/2" x 7" and will arrive in an archival sleeve with a certificate of authenticity ready for framing and display.
